MILLY MOLLY MANDY COW PAINTING – PRINT ON PAPER
Milly Molly and Mandy are Guernsey cows from Chilton Cantelo in Somerset. They were all hanging out looking cheeky and peeking over a wall at me as I drove by on my way to pick up the kids from school. I had to stop and take hundreds of photos of them as they seemed to love having their photos taken and were posing in groups. This lovely threesome were irresistible. I think at the time my daughter and I were really into Milly Molly Mandy books – I remember loving them as a child – being amazed that she had to wash with a jug – no taps – and was allowed out to roam around her village talking to boys and doing errands – I think I secretly wanted to be Milly Molly Mandy, it was a while before I wanted to be Madonna and wear lace and leather jackets….
So here they are – Milly Molly and Mandy on paper. The size is:
