Maurice Major lives near my in-laws near Stamford in Lincolnshire. I believe he is a Charolais (and he may well be a she!). We were having a lovely family walk when we came across this handsome fella in a field. I couldn’t get enough of his amazing nose and I love the way the spittle dribbles delicately down his chin!
My son named him Maurice and because he was a big chap, I thought he should be Maurice Major (there has been a little version of the same cow called Maurice Minor!)
This is a striking cow canvas and is quite a large one so will make an impact in any room. All my canvases are printed using very high quality inks with the giclee method. They are also laminated, so can be dusted and wiped with a soft cloth (so no excuses for a dusty top on Maurice…).
It takes about 2 weeks to get the canvases to customers unless I have one in stock, but if you are in a rush – let me know and I will see if I can help.
