Description
Clarissa is one of my Langport cow paintings series. I came across a lovely group of excitable Friesian ladies on a dog walk and was rather glad to get to the other side of a gate from them. Once there, my courage returned and I spent a happy half hour doing a cow photoshoot in which they obligingly posed for ages sniffing the air and generally being interested in what was happening.
This lovely cow had such a great expression of inquisitiveness and knowingness.
I have called her Clarissa after one of my cow Facebook followers – I promised to do this a while ago and I think it just fits!
Clarisaa is 80cm x 60cm painted in acrylic paint on high quality canvas. The painting is painted around the sides, so there is no need to frame it, although it can easily be framed to taste. It comes ready to hang.
This original cow painting will be available to buy from September 10th at the Somerset Emporium in Wellington priced at £795.
